BORN TO SERVE

Nursery

We have a lot of young families here at Sasebo Baptist, so parents of infants and toddlers -- you won't be alone!

Loving nursery care is provided for every service.

Our children's ministry have been training, which insures that your child will be well cared for by qualified sisters, mothers, and grandmothers.

Children's Ministry

"Suffer little children, and forbid them not to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven."

During the worship service on Sunday mornings, our children get to participate in their own service! They sing, play games, and get to hear a lesson that is on their level. All of our volunteers are trained and look forward to having your child in this service!

Students & Youth

"Let no man despise thy youth, but be thou an example of the believers."
~ 1 Tim 4:12
7th-12th grade students are growing at Sasebo Baptist! Students have a significant value, to God, and to Sasebo Baptist! Our desire as a student ministry is to encourage each student to develop a personal relationship with God. In the process, we do have a lot of fun!

We will begin this program soon and look forward to what God is going to do through these teens! Stay tuned for a launch date!

Adults

"For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them."

 We all need encouragement! The purpose of our ladies' ministry is to encourage one another in relationships and in the Lord. Events are scheduled throughout the year including: monthly Fellowship lunch, monthly Ladies Bible study & Fellowship, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas party, and more!

Men need time away with men! Our men's ministry is geared to provide fellowship and encouragement with one another. Events are scheduled throughout the year including: monthly Saturday prayer breakfast, Father's Day, workdays, joint bowling, and much more.

Missions

Sasebo Baptist Church has experienced God doing some unbelievable things through its people. Throughout this time Sasebo Baptist has maintained a heart for the world-wide work of God and seen many called to ministry to do the same. Sasebo Baptist supports missionaries who are taking the gospel of Christ throughout the world. These missionaries are supported through and sent by local independent Baptist churches. The members of Sasebo Baptist have made the financial support of global evangelization a high priority, and the church's missions dollars would come through the biblical practice of Faith Promise Giving. 

​Sasebo Baptist Church desires to keep missions as our priority as well as set aside a time each year to have an annual missions conference to help maintain a heart for world-wide missions.

Outreach

"Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled."

The Bible is very clear that we must reach this world with the Gospel. As a church, we encourage every Christian to be soul winners wherever the Lord has placed them. We desire that everyone at Sasebo Baptist to have the desire at sharing their faith to help others come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

As Christians, we are commanded by the Lord to take the life-changing Gospel to our community. Our outreach efforts are wonderful times to show Sasebo, Japan that God’s love is more than words – it’s action! We meet every other Saturday to hand out Gospel tracts to our community and share the free gift of salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.  We are looking forward to what God will do as we sow the seed.

It is our privilege to provide transportation for those who need a ride to attend our church services.

Military

At Sasebo Baptist Church we understand the challenges of military members and families. Being separated from relatives and friends, coupled with the demands of military duty, can take its toll. At Sasebo Baptist Church we are here for you. We count it a great honor to serve the military community at U.S. Commander Fleet Activities Base in Sasebo, Japan. We hope to see you soon.

From these messages you will learn what the Bible says, why it's important, and how to apply it to your life.
